I decided to support Special Operations Warrior Project, because I felt it was an awesome charity. The organization helps pay college expenses for the child of a fallen hero. This is just one way they help. To me this is an incredible way to show our support. What better way to honor them than to help their family succeed in life.

What is Special Operations Warrior Foundation?
The Special Operations Warrior foundation was found in 1980, when a team of special operations attempted to rescue 53 American hostages being held in Iran. Unfortunately, 8 service men tragically lost their lives due to an aircraft mishap, leaving behind 17 children. One of the most emulated and respected nonprofit organizations in the United States grew out of a battlefield promise to take care of these fallen brothers’ children.
Since then, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation has honored the sacrifice of Special Operations Personnel who lose their lives in the line of duty or sustain severe wounds in combat. Special Operations Warrior Foundation is a top rated nonprofit organization that supports the military’s Special Operation Forces and their families through three programs.
• College scholarships for the surviving children of fallen Special Operation Forces
• Family & education counseling, including in-home tutoring, as well as advocacy support
• Immediate $3,000 financial grants to severely wounded Special Operations Forces service members
